# How the Plugin Works

* After installing and activating the plugin, you will see a new **MailerLite Integration** tab appear in each Contact Form 7 form's settings.
* To begin the integration, you need to enter your **MailerLite API key**. This allows the plugin to securely communicate with your MailerLite account and retrieve information like fields.
* The plugin fetches all the fields from your MailerLite account. You can then map these fields to the corresponding fields from your Contact Form 7 form. For example, map the "Email" field from MailerLite to the "Email" input field in Contact Form 7, ensuring that data is synced correctly.
* When a user submits a form, the plugin automatically sends the data to MailerLite based on the field mappings you’ve configured. It captures details like name, email address, and any other mapped fields, ensuring they are added to your MailerLite mailing list or updated in your MailerLite account.
* If there’s an issue with the MailerLite API or submission data, the plugin logs these errors and provides messages in the admin interface, making it easier for you to troubleshoot any connectivity or syncing issues.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.centousplugins.com/centous-integration-for-cf7-and-mailerlite/getting-started/publish-your-docs.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
